[News – X360] Microsoft X360 news (lots of them)

This news will cover lot of small news around Microsoft X360 world.

Microsoft released the first clothing pack for its Avatars, which will let players dress their Avatars with ski and snowboarding gear. There’s not much there only few items. It will download automatically so you shouldn’t worry about this.

Microsoft announced that November was the best sales month in Europe. The sales grew up 124%, comparing with the same month last year. They’ve surpassed all competitors. Now, Microsoft is working with retailers to guarantee that there will exist stock for every person who wants to buy an X360 this Christmas.

Shane Kim, vice president of strategy and business development for Microsoft’s games business, has described himself has “cautiously optimistic” about 2008 winter and even more concerned with next year. Even with recent great sales performance, he still is afraid of worldwide economical crisis. He forecast“tough times” and the big objective for them is to “deliver most entertainment value for the dollar”.

Now, for Japan. According to a Japanese journal, X360 will permit their gamers to download movies and animes in 2009. But they’re having problem with authors rights. Sony and Wii already have similar services in Japan and this is a way to attract more Japanese gamers.

In a recent talk with Phil Spencer, Microsoft Games Studios boss, he revealed that Microsoft has started to plan next E3 2009 and there will be a different approach from Microsoft. He said that in recent E3 they only talk about the next 6 months but he thinks that they’ve to talk more about the future.
